Who we are:
Zero Carbon Headingley is a project of Headingley Development Trust – a group of people living and working in Headingley taking action to cut carbon emissions.
We work towards a Zero Carbon Headingley by involving as many people and organisations as possible to take action on reducing our carbon footprints and emissions.
We are campaigning to cut emissions from transport, buildings, food, consumption & waste. We want to see Headingley become an environmentally sustainable neighbourhood with quiet streets, clean air, low energy homes and businesses.
We are organising meetings, workshops and events for everyone to share information, learn from those with expertise and encourage practical actions to reduce individual and organisational footprints.
